I helped pitch and create social campaigns for "Handmaid's Tale" Season 2 and "The Looming Tower" at Hulu.

In order to generate awareness and increase subscriptions to their streaming service, Hulu needed social ideas that would establish fandom and excitement. 

HANDMAID'S TALE SEASON 2

Looking for a powerful way to increase social engagement and fan acquisition, we created a call to arms moment to #Resist at the premiere of Handmaid's Tale season 2.

Inspired by revolutionary female artists like Barbara Kruger, our team created a series of posters that captured the season's key message of resistance. 

Posters were handed out to fans at the premiere so lead showrunners like Elisabeth Moss and Alexis Bledel could sign them. Instagram stories helped capture the buzz and drove viewership for the show.

THE LOOMING TOWER

We created a social campaign to generate impressions and viewership around The Looming Tower— a shrouded story of the CIA vs. the FBI in the events that led up to 9/11.

Did we have all the information when 9/11 happened? Who was really to blame? We created a series of posts that highlighted key players involved within the CIA and the FBI as well as un-redacting confidential information.

 

The result was increased viewership and an increase in impressions and views on Hulu's social handles throughout the release of the show.
